Principal & Prosper Proud to Support Edinburgh Rugby

Edinburgh Rugby and Scotland back Greig Tonks was on hand today, alongside the capital club’s Managing Director Jonny Petrie, to welcome independent Chartered Financial Advisers Principal & Prosper into the Edinburgh family of sponsors.

Managing Director Chris Purves and Director Stewart Siegel came to BT Murrayfield from the firm’s Melville Street, Edinburgh offices to announce the three-year deal.

The Principal & Prosper logo, which will be worn by players on the right sleeve of both the home and away jerseys, will be seen for the first time this Saturday, when Edinburgh take on Munster in the Guinness PRO12 at BT Murrayfield (kick-off 5.15pm).

Principal & Prosper, who also have offices in Glasgow and Kelso, feature a team of advisers with a total of over 200 years of experience in providing financial advice, backed up by a strong team of technical support staff and administrators.

Mirroring Edinburgh Rugby’s core values, the firm are looking forward to building a partnership which will offer both teams an opportunity to develop new and exciting relationships.

Edinburgh Rugby's Managing Director, Jonny Petrie, said: “We are delighted that Principal & Prosper have chosen to support Edinburgh Rugby.

“We’re both strong Edinburgh businesses who share similar values in the professional approach that we adopt, with Principal & Prosper’s long term financial planning mirroring our own detailed approach to maximising performance on the field.”

Chris Purves, Managing Director of Principal & Prosper, said: “We are proud to be supporting Edinburgh Rugby.

“The parallels between financial planning and rugby may not be immediately evident but we share core values of integrity, teamwork, passion and professional performance. We are delighted to be joining the team.”
